Question My friend is flying here today 7/5/2008. Her phone is based in Hong Kong. I need to send her a proper address via text messaging for her Customs landing form. I know how to call her when she is in Hong Kong, but how, what numbers to dial when she lands in Los Angeles? Thanks
Answer Hi Glen -
So here's the good news. You call someone's cell phone number the same way regardless of where they are when you call them. You also send a text message the same way. It never matters where the person is, whether in Hong Kong or in the US, you always dial their number the same way regardless (same with text messaging). I hope this gets to you in time and let me know if you need anything else. Just send her a text message like normal and hopefully she will get it. Keep in mind that if her wireless provider does not support international text messaging or if she does not have international roaming as part of her plan, she will not be able to communicate with you via cell phone while she is in the States. Thanks. DebiN
