Question
I dropped W385 Motorola in to a large cup of cola. I have over 300 business contacts and the service provider say if phone will not power up (Which it does not)  the contacts can not be retrieved. I have seen many adds for date retrieval in computers, can this be don on the cell phone?

Answer
Hello Mike,

If your phone powers on you can copy the contacts over yourself with the use of software called Motorola phone tools. You can purchase this software at some local cell phone stores or you can purchase it online. You will also need a data cable, you will be able to backup your contacts your videos your text messages your pictures ringtones and some games depending on where you purchased them from. You can also attempt to go to some cell phone stores that unlock cell phones they also at times do this for customers for a fee. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
