Answer
Hello Chris,

The Lg shine phone you have from At&t is a 3g phone having the phone on T-mobile doesnt guarantee you are going to have 3g service. If I am not mistaken T-mobile is still an Edge company and have not yet become a full 3g company. If you use your unlocked phone on the T-mobile network you will have to use the edge network meaning your internet access will be alot slower. You do need to tweek the settings on your phone because right now your phones settings are set to At&t you will need to change those settings to T-mobile. Below I have attached the settings for your phone. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.

First setup your access point:
Title:Tzones
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication:PAP
APN: www.voicestream.com

Next set up your browser:
Srvice name: T-zones GPRS
Homepage: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
connection mode: TCP with proxy
IP address:216.155.165.050
proxer server port: 9201
security: not secure
Access point: Tzones

Now you sset up your mms settings:
mmsc url: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
mms proxy:216.155.174.050:8080
connection mode: TCP with proxy
access point: tzones
