Hi.  I seem to be able to receive sms messages no problem, but I can't send them.  I somehow stumbled upon the setting that would allow this, but have lost that instruction.  Now it seems it spontaneously reverted to the old setting and I can't get it back to where it was.  This is driving me mad.  Can someone help with this?  Thanks much in advance.

You can fix this problem by performing a master reset on your phone. This will fix any settings on your phone that you have changed. This will reset the phones settings to manufacturer settings you will need to apply your wallpaper and ringtone again. Here is how you perform a Master Reset on a Motorola Phone:
1. Open your phone up and go to “Settings”
2. Next go to the selection for “Initial Setup”
3. Next go to the selection for “Master Reset”
4. Then select to confirm the option.
5. Now enter the security code which should be “000000”
6. Finally press select or ok and the phone will reset itself to the factory condition
