my  sidekick II wont turn on it hasnt been charged in a yr what do i do

Since your battery has not been charged in about a year it could be that your battery has gone bad or the cells in the battery just need to be recharged for a while. I would suggest for you to charge your phone for about 10 minutes to 30 minutes and see if your phone battery starts charging.
