i don't know if you can help me but my phone is coming up with "Enter
restriction code" it is my friends old phone but she never had the enter
restriction number can you please help me with the restriction code? do you
know what it is??

Hello Emily,

When you see Enter Restriction Code on your phone this means that your phone is not unlocked. Either you have at&t service and the phone is a T-mobile phone, they both have the same technologies where they accept sim cards but the phone is locked to its assigned network until you have the phone unlocked. When you take the phone to a cell phone service personnal they can unlock the phone for you for a fee when they unlock the phone for you the next time you enter your sim card you will not see Enter Restriction Code because your phone will not be restricted to its assigned network any more.
