i have recently bought a used zte c88 and it got locked up and i dont know password i tried the phone # and the birthdate of the last owner

I do apologize but you would need to know the password in order to unlock the phone there is no going around that. The only other thing you can do is have the phone flashed and the only way of doing that would be to send the phone to a technician that can flash the phone.
