Hi,
I am currently using Verizon Wireless for my cellphone carrier as a 2-year contract. I recently purchased a Sony Ericson(GSM Phone) and was wondering if purchasing any unlocked SIM card was good to work with.

I was also curious which cellphone carriers' SIM card I should purchase for the best network/phone connection.

And one more thing, if I purchase a AT&T SIM card, will I be able to use that SIM card in any other GSM Phones also marked with and without that carriers logo?

If the sony phone you have is unlocked, meaning you can use any gsm carrier with it, then it would make no difference which carrier you choose.  If you are looking for the best coverage....that depends on the general area you live in.  You can view coverage areas online.  The 2 biggest gsm carriers in the US, are tmobile and att.  Depending on where you live, you may have a local or regional carrier you could use.  If you don't know if the phone is unlocked or not, then get 2 people that have a gsm carrier and put their sim cards in the phone.  If it powers up and makes a phone call, with both sims then its unlocked.  If you are comfortable telling me roughly where you live, I can tell you the best carrier to choose for coverage.  Providing your zip code would work best, but not necessary.  Your final question....an att sim card will work in an unlocked gsm phone.  Its the phone that needs to be unlocked, not the sim.  Let me know.
