Question
I have a V3 RAZR that was originally Cingular that I have unlocked and now want to install a SIM card so I can do Pay as You Go from ATT/Virgin/TMobile/whoever. Can I get a SIM off ebay and "activate" it and then go to Wally World and buy minutes? How do I activate it? Do I have to go to an ATT/whoever store? I know what I want to do but not exactly how to do it. Thanks in advance for your help.
Dale, the easiest way to activate a prepay service is with either att or tmobile. you can go to either companies corporate stores and they will take care of the rest. Since you have your own phone, there should be no need to purchase a sim card. you will need to buy your minutes. No matter which company you choose, make sure that you are at a corporate store, otherwise you will be charged for the sim...probably 25 bucks. Hope this helps
