Cellular Phones/CDMA Sprint to Verizon

Question
Hi - i was recently looking @ the LG LX600 (Lotus) and love the phone.  It's currently for Sprint but runs on the CDMA network (950).  Verizon is also a CDMA network (1900) - can the phone be purchased w/out a contract from Sprint and then activated @ Verizon

Answer
You can't purchase the phone from Sprint without service. It has to be associated with a wireless number from Sprint. If you own the device and have Sprint service and your contract is up and you want to have the device flashed to Verizon, you can find someone to do this for you, but in all honesty, if you aren't able to get the phone on-line or from someone else, it's probably not worth the amount of money it would take to get the phone and then have it flashed to Verizon. It may be better to just get service with Sprint and buy the device from them (and cheaper). I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
