hi
i do hope you can help im very lost i purchased a BB 9500 off ebay and have had it unlocked as im on a orange uk contract and want to use the phone. the phone works fine for voice calls and sms messaging but i have had no luck being able to use the internet and emails on it and i dont know what i need to do to set it up and as a bb is all about the internet uses its a bit of waste to have it with out it.

In order to use a BlackBerry for anything other than voice and SMS, you have to have a BlackBerry data plan from your carrier and the device has to have the firmware for your carrier and the specific model of BlackBerry. There is no other way to use a BlackBerry for data. If your carrier supports this model of BlackBerry, then you just need to sign up for the BlackBerry data plan and download the firmware and you can use the device for data. Otherwise, it will just be a phone with the ability to use the calendar, etc., but no synchronization or accessing the data network. Thanks. DebiN
