Question
I cannot download my pictures I take from my phone to the computer. I have a motorola w376g tracfone.
I recently found you can unlock this usb lock that they put on .
i went to one site and they ask who your provider is.but the only way you know that is if you call tracfone and ask them which provider they put you with , with your Sim Card.
so how else can i find who my provider is?  I know its not Tmobile, I had alot alot problems and no service ANYWHERE....

can you tell by the number on the sim card who the provider is?

thanks

Answer
If you have a SIM card and you know for certain that the provider is not T-Mobile, then the provider is AT&T. And yes, you can tell by the SIM card. If the SIM card number starts with 8901, the provider is AT&T. However, this particular phone is only sold by Tracfone, so you may not be able to get the drivers for it since it is not a resale by AT&T or other carrier. I'm not sure what having problems with service relates to your not having T-Mobile. Having problems with service can be an issue with the network, but also with the phone. I hope this helps. Thanks.
