Cellular Phones/Question on the iphone

Question
I have a used iphone. Its not connected now so my question is can i put a go phone pre-paid card from AT&T in the iphone? Will it work properly or not?

Answer
The iPhone will not work with a prepaid AT&T SIM card. You have to use only a post-paid SIM from AT&T with an iPhone data plan. The SIM cards that it will recognize all have to be 3G SIM cards with voice and iPhone data plans. If the iPhone is SIM unlocked, then it will work with other SIMs, but only for voice. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
