Cellular Phones/SIM card trouble

Question
i have a used blackberry 8700c that needs a SIM card. I was wondering if i can just go to any store and get a SIM card that has a pay as you go plan or if i need a special one. Thanks :)

Answer
If the device is SIM unlocked, you can buy a prepaid plan and will get a SIM card. Keep in mind, however, that it will only work for voice and text messaging. You won't be able to access the internet or picture messaging. A BlackBerry only works for data when you have a BlackBerry data plan. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
