Question
I have a boost mobile cell phone(i776).I would like another phone other than a boost phone. I want to be able to put my boost sim card in another brand of cell phone and still use boost service provider.
The only compatible phones are other iDEN phones. Nextel is the other iDEN carrier and if you want to buy another phone that is not through Boost, you will want to get a SIM unlocked Nextel phone. No GSM phone will work and the majority of the iDEN phones are by MOtorola. Please make sure that the phone is SIM unlocked and also be prepared to know that chirp and text messaging will not work with the new phone. You are much better off with a Boost phone, if possible.
