Hi debin, it seems like you are an expert on blackberry's , this is why i ask you. i just bought the blackberry pearl 8100, my question is can it be used with boost mobile chip, using the ptt?? and also does this cellphone can access to the internet through wi-fi?? i would really appreciate you answer me, thank you.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 cannot be used with a Boost Mobile SIM card. This BlackBerry has a GSM radio and will only work with a GSM SIM card. Your Boost SIM is iDEN and is not compatible with this device. You can't use it for WiFi, for PTT, for anything. It won't work at all no matter what. Can't be unlocked to work with it either, it's 100% incompatible, I'm sorry to say. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
