Question
CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO IT?  IS IT CALLED A SIM CARD WHEN YOU INSERT IT OR WHAT?  I WANT TO DOWNLOAD ALL TEXT MESSAGES, PICTURES AND VIDEOS FROM MY PHONE TO THE SD CARD AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING.  I HAVE A SAMSUNG A707 FROM ATT AND THEY WERE OF NO HELP TO ME AT ALL

Answer
A micro SD card is external storage. It is similar to using a CD to save information from your computer and it is similar to what is used in a digital camera to save pictures. If you have to first purchase a micro SD card for your phone. It can't exceed the proper capacity for your specific phone model. If you buy one that is 2GIG, you will be safe. Then look at your manual on how to put the card into your phone. Remember that it is the micro SD card, NOT the SIM card. The SIM card is what makes your phone work with AT&T. Don't touch that. Once the card is installed, your phone will recognize it and prompt you through any setup, if necessary. Once it is ready to go, you can copy your pictures and videos to the memory card right through the phone. You may or may not be able to save text messages to the card. Having a memory card gives you an alternate place to save pictures and videos, but keep in mind that you won't be able to take that card and put it into your computer to read it. It is only compatible with your phone. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
