Cellular Phones/LG 8600 Flip Phone - Mp3, SD card

Question
Hi! I put a bunch of songs in MP3 and WMA format on my SD card by the good old click and drag method (into the "my songs" folder. I put the SD card back in the phone, and it recognizes the songs are there, even lists the information for them. But when I try to 'launch' or play a song, it just cycles through the list continuously. Do you know why this is? I've heard that this phone has a decent MP3 player capability and I'm eager to get my new 2GB SD card working for me.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to drag and drop songs onto an SD card and then have them play on your device. In order to play songs on your phone through the SD card, you need software loaded on your computer with the appropriate drivers for your phone and then with the SD card in the phone and the phone tethered to the computer, then you transfer music through the USB cable to the phone. With Verizon, you must purchase the software from them. There's no other way around this. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
