Question
I get the error Check call restriction -34. I tried googling for an answer but no luck. This is a safelink phone, It's my very first cell ever. I typed a local phone # using the area code with and without the 1 and I even typed in the number without any of that. no luck, still shows the same message. This phone is local, long distance and national coverage. I can't send or recieve any messages. I have no land line so I'm unable to call tech support.  I went to the website safelink.com but I couldn't find any questions on this error and there is nothing in the manuel either.

Answer
I don't know too much about Safelink, but have you followed all of the steps to insure that you are set up for Safelink? If you are set up and your Tracfone SIM is active, you should be able to dial without a problem. You may have already seen this information, but I found some other folsk who are having the same issue, so it appears that it may be common. It is very likely that your service is not fully activated yet. I would recommend contacting Safelink about this. Here is the link to see what the others have to say.

I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
