Cellular Phones/Sim Card

Question
I just bought a new Samsung Impression cell phone. The salesman put my old SIM Card in the new phone, but, I can't see any numbers in the contacts file. Can you tell me how to activate my sim card?

Answer
It sounds like your contacts were saved to your old phone. If you take your SIM card and put it into your old phone and then copy the contacts to the SIM card, you can then put the SIM card back into your new phone and your contacts will be there (on the SIM). You can then choose to copy them from the SIM to the new phone. If you aren't sure how to copy the contacts, take the old phone, new phone with the SIM card in it to your carrier's retail store and ask them if they can transfer your contacts to your new phone. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
