Question
I just bought I really nice at&t phone and I wanted to tranfer my metro number to this phone, when I took it to the metro pcs retailer they told me they couldnt use the phone because it had a sim card. Is there anyway around this? I would really like to use this phone....
Thanks,
Gabby

Answer
What you were told at the Metro store was completely true. The AT&T phone uses GSM technology (it's not because it uses a SIM, it's because it uses a different technology) and MetroPCS uses CDMA technology. These two are not compatible in any way and nothing can be done to change that, I'm afraid. If you want to use the phone, you would need to switch your service to AT&T. If you want a new phone for Metro, I would recomend getting it directly from Metro. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
