Question
My phone vibrates twice before a text, incomming call, etc. I think for my calls, those 2 vibrations count as a ring so it doesn't ring enough& i miss the call. I tried adjusting the volume, but it still vibtrates before ringing. I don't have a "menu" icon. I go to "options" icon, there's nothing to adjust vibrate patterns there. I have to go to the media, then ringtones to change the ringtone, but there's nothing for vibrate on/off. I go to "profile" icon, choose to turn to volume only, but it still vibrates twice befor calls, texts, & emails. Is there anywhere else to turn off the default vibrating?

Answer
Jennifer, you were almost right there to adjust it. When you go into the profiles, you should have a few different choices.  Scroll to the bottom and select advanced.  Now highlight the profile you are using and hit the blackbery(or menu) key. select edit. now at this point you should be seeing all kinds of things, such as, calendar, messages, email (if you have it), phone, messenger, sms, mms.  select one of those. at this point you should be seeing 2 sections, one for out of holster, and one for in holster.  now you can select what you would like the ringtone to be, how many rings, and so forth.  the selection beside in holster and out of holster will allow you to select none, tone, vibrate, vibrate and tone.  make sure you hit the back key and select save whenever you are done, or the changes won't work. even though it says out of holster or in holster, this could be a leather case too.  Please let me know if this helps.
