Cellular Phones - Charging problem

Expert: DebiN - 6/30/2009

Question
once I connected my charger, I heard a something like a cracking sound. And I couldn't charge my phone again, every thing in the phone is working, but the phone wasn't detecting the charger. What would have happened?

Answer
If you have another charger (like a car charger or other charger that works in this phone), try it to see if it works. If that charger doesn't work either, than the problem is with the charging port on your phone. Try removing the battery from your phone and then putting it back in and trying the charger again. If it still doesn't work, then the charging port is the issue. You would need to have your phone repaired or replaced (if 12 months old or less, it would still be under warranty if you bought it from your carrier). I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
