Cellular Phones - Unlocked ATT Motorola V365 - no voice communication

Question
I am a ATT subscriber and installed my sim card out of a Nokia 6102i in a recently purchased V365 Motorola phone. No error messages displayed and everything looked okay. However when I try to make or receive calls there is no voice communication. On outgoing calls it shows it's dialing, the other party hears and picks up the call and connects but no voice sound on either end. On incoming calls, the phone rings, I answer and it shows to be connected but again no sound. Ring tones work. Is the sim card compatible? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Answer
A SIM card is not specific to a phone. All SIMs are generic to the carrier. Did you purchase the V365 from AT&T or from a third party (like eBay or on-line)? If you purchased the phone from a place other than AT&T, there is a good possibilty that the phone is damaged. Your SIM card would make no difference, but it does sound like perhaps the phone you have is damaged, i.e., the internal speaker is shot. Let me know where the phone came from. Thanks. DebiN
