Cellular Phones/how to fix screen on LG Shine

Question
My daughter  gave her phone to her son and he threw it against a corner and cracked the screen on the inside. do you know anyway that we can fix it?

Answer
Tim,  i'm gonna guess that you don't have insurance on the phone.  if in fact you do, then call your carriers customer service and file a claim to get a replacement.  if you don't call your local carriers store and ask if they know anyone locally that fixes screens.  if that fails go to LG's website and see if they have service options.  this will require you to send your phone to LG for about 2 or 3 weeks and will cost around 100 bucks.  you may be better off finding another phone to use, but that's up to you.  lg's number is 800-243-0000.  here is the copy of a live chat i did to get you some answers.

Amber: Cracked LCD's usually cost 95 dollars.
denny adams: ok, what's the estimated turn around time for them?
Amber: Once the phone is received, it would be 2 to 3 business days for it to be evaluated and entered into the computer.
Amber: Then we must receive payment.
denny adams: cool, last question, to begin the process, how do they proceed?
Amber: After payment is received the phone is repaired and sent back usually in 5 to 7 business days.
Amber: We just need them to call in or come to LG on Live Chat.
denny adams: amber, thanks so much for your time today, enjoy the week.

hope this helps.
