Cellular Phones/Cell Phone Sim Card compatability

Question
I have a Nokia 6085 phone which is chewing up batteries in less than 1 day.  I have other Nokia 6085 phones where the same batteries work just fine.  I have a monthly plan with at&t.  I need to get a new phone and it appears, based on other posts here, I can't just buy a Pre Paid phone and switch the SIM cards.  I saw a Samsung A437 on eBay, which is supposed to be branded AT&T/Cingular on Amazon and was wondering if I can buy that and use my current SIM card.

Answer
Yes, you can use the phone you saw on Amazon. As long as it is branded AT&T and is not a prepaid phone, it will work with your SIM card. It can be branded Cingular also, same thing. I would recommend that you consider getting a new phone from AT&T if possible or getting one from them that is refurbished. If you are eligible for an upgrade or your phone is less than 12 months old, you should do it. Thanks. DebiN
