Question I just read your answer about flashing a blackberry to
cricket and your explanation says that some features that
are not supported by cricket will not be functional with the
flashed blackberry because cricket does not support them.
However, my question is, if you have a flashed blackberry
curve that is flashed to metropcs would it have the same
issues? I thought it wouldn't since MetroPCS does carry
Blackberry curve, but correct me if I'm wrong or at least
give me an idea of things that might go wrong to look out
for.
I bought it on ebay today and it's about to be sent, but I
think I still have 7 days to return it, so when I get it and
I'm not satisfied with it, I just want to have an idea of
what to look for.
Thanks,
-Perla
Answer You can't use a BlackBerry with a carrier that doesn't sell BlackBerrys. If the carrier sells BlackBerrys and you have one that has been flashed to that carrier, then you can use it. If you are buying a BlackBerry that is flashed to Metro, it should work for you. Keep in mind that you have to have a BlackBerry data plan with MetroPCS for this to work otherwise, it will not - whether or not it was flashed. I hope this helps. Metro does not sell BlackBerrys.
