Question
My aunt gave me a sciphone i68. Anyway, I'm really having a hard time with SMS function. Whenever I receive messages. It doesn't show the name of the sender but only the mobile number. I need to write on the sheet of paper the number of the sender and search it on the phonebook to know who sent me the messages. Please help me out here. Thank you

Answer
In order for your phone to associate the person who is texting you and your phone book, the two entries have to match exactly. The very best way to do this is the text time that someone texts you, even though they are already in your phonebook, add them from the text that you got from them, i.e., choose the option to add them to your phonebook. Once they are added, the next time they call, you will see that it matches the entry. Then look at the entry to see how it needs to be configured in your phonebook. It either needs a '1' in front of the number or something else and it likely has to do with the way that this Chinese phone codes US numbers. Once you see an entry that matches, then you will see how they others need to be set up. Just set them up from when they contact you and they will all be in the right format to match. An example of a mismatch would be if you put in your contacts 555-1212 and when the number comes across it shows 212-555-1212. This is a mismatch. So is 1-212-555-1212 and so is 5551212. Hopefully, this makes sense. Thanks. DebiN
