Question
i work in an office where i cannot be on my cell phone. is there a way where i can get my text messages and voicemails sent to my computer? i have a sprint lg rumor phone?

Answer
If you want voice mails sent to your email, you can sign up for a service such as PhoneTag. When you have PhoneTag service, your calls go to a PhoneTag voice mail box instead of to your carrier's box. They can then be transcribed by PhoneTag if you choose or simply sent with a .WAV file (you have a choice of just a .WAV file or both the transcription and .WAV file) to your email address. There's nothing that can be done about text messages, unfortunately. Using this service, you could at least read or listen to your voice mails on your computer. You can also call your voice mail from your work phone if you get the voice mail box phone number from your carrier and then you just call the number, put in your 10 digit phone number (your mailbox) and password. There isn't anything that can be done about text messages. They are only readable on your cell phone. It doesn't matter what type of phone you have, it's all based on your carrier. I hope this helps.
