Cellular Phones/data transfer between carriers

Question
I currently have a nextel blackberry curve that has all my contacts on its sim card. I just bought an iPhone and want to transfer the sim data to the iPhone. Do you know if the sprint card will be read by the iPhone or will it not recognize the data?

Answer
It is very easy to do what you are wanting to do. Take your BlackBerry with the SIM in it into an AT&T store and ask them to transfer the data for you. It's a piece of cake. The iPhone CANNOT read the SIM, but AT&T has a device that will allow for data transfer. You can also just take the data on the BlackBerry, use Desktop Manager to copy to Outlook and synch the iPhone with Outlook, but it is probably easier for you to just take the devices to AT&T to have them do this for you.
