Question Hi, my son will be coming from England next month to attend Ole Miss university. I was wondering if you could offer me any advice on what type of contract he should get. He will probably use Skype to call home but it would be useful for him to use his mobile at times too.
Answer Using his mobile phone will be expensive. If he uses his current device and phone number, calls will be charged at roaming fees. He would be better off getting a prepaid mobile phone in the US and then calls to England will only be at international dialing rates (which is a lot less expensive than international roaming).
