Question hey there, i've been a fan of sidekick for a while now, but i was wondering....i saw your answer to some of the other users on this websites and you said that we couldnt use the sidekick in indonesia (that's where i live) and that it could only do the voice thing. whats other minuses of having sidekick in other countries rather than the USA? can it send text messages? thankyou.
Answer You will not be able to send text messages or access the internet. It will basically be a phone. You can use things that don't require network access, but that's it. The Sidekick uses MMS messaging for text messages and that's a data feature and why you can't use it for anything other than voice. I wouldn't consider a Sidekick unless you are with T-Mobile in the US. There are much better devices out there. I hope this helps. thakns. DebiN
