Question
QUESTION: Okay well I have a motorola sidekick slide and its prepaid. Anyways, I have tried many times to send a mms to another phone and I can't. T-mobile customer service told me to try sending 2 pics to my phone first but it doesn't work. I pay 1 dollar everyday for having everthing unlimited (besides min.)  And I don't find that fair since I can't send mms. What is the problem and how can I fix this at last? I don't know what to do anymore. Help me please!

ANSWER: Take the device into a T-Mobile store and have them help you. It is their responsibilty to do this and I can 100% guarantee you that the problem has something to do with the way you are set up or something on your account. I promise you that they can help you, you just need to have someone show you how to do this properly. Please go to a T-Mobile store and ask them to help you. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN

QUESTION: Well that sounds helpful but will a T-mobile store help me even if my sidekick slide is prepaid and I bought it at a different store that wasn't T-mobile.

Answer
If you bought your Sidekick somewhere else, then your problem sounds to me that your prepaid plan does not have a Sidekick data prepaid plan on it. You cannot use a Sidekick for anything other than voice if don't have a Sidekick data plan. MMS requires a data plan and for a Sidekick, it has to be a Sidekick data plan (similar to a BlackBerry data plan) because Sidekicks communicate their data via a Sidekick server. There's no way around this. Fortunately, T-Mobile has a Sidekick prepaid plan, so if you can get this added, you can get T-Mobile to help you register with the Sidekick server and then you shouldn't have any issues. I'm surprised that the person who helped you on the phone didn't tell you about this. They should have looked at your account and seen that you didn't have the plan. If you do happen to have the Sidekick data plan (because you had a different Sidekick before you bought this one), then you just need to register this Sidekick with the server (they can help you with that also). They don't care where you bought the device. It's a T-Mobile device, so they support it (it just isn't under warranty). I hpe this helps. Thanks. DebiN
