Question Ihad myat&t bb 8310 unlocked to use with tmobile service now that's the phone is unlock when I put sim card in it works fine for about three hours then it shuts down during, after, or making a call then only the red lcd comes then I pull the battery that work but I remove sim card all together phone comes right back on.... Is this a software problem cause I upgraded the os to 4.5 , or the sim card, or just the phone.
Answer The problem was most likely caused by the upgrade to the software. If you upgraded the device to software designed for T-Mobile, then it is possible that this device cannot handle it. I would strongly recommend going back to the original software and that should resolve your issue. I believe that 4.5 may be fine for the 8900 Curve, but for the 8310, it may be an issue. Where did you get the 4.5 and did it state that it was for the 8310? Let me know and I'm happy to try to help you further. It's definitely not the SIM card, that is for certain. Thanks. DebiN
