I am very familiar with the individual devices and their specifications. I can also answer questions regarding BlackBerrys, iPhones and other PDAs, both Palm-based and Windows-based. Question I just read that the LG GD910 watchphone (which is GSM) will
be sim-free somehow when it goes on sale next month in UK
thru Orange. I understand that a phone can be unlocked and
sim card can be swapped so phone will work with any other
GSM provider. But, if I bought thru Orange this GSM phone
which has NO sim card, unlocked it, and tried to use it with
AT&T here in the U.S. would I be SOL since no sim card to
change? If may steps or thinking is flawed please bring me
up to speed &/or make suggestions how to make it work here.
Thanks very much for your help.
Answer You will not be able to use any GSM phone that doesn't work with a SIM card no matter what. AT&T requires a SIM card and currently has no way to activate a phone without an active SIM card. I'm afraid that you will not be able to use this device with AT&T service. I hope this helps. Thanks. Debin
