Question
My Motorola w385 will not turn off using proper manual instructions, I have to take out the battery pack in order for it to shut off, but it will turn on perfectly fine, how do i shut it off without taking the battery pack out?

Answer
It sounds like the button to turn and and off the phone may be broken or stuck. If you don't want to pay to have it looked at and/or fixed (i.e., the phone is more than 12 months old and no longer under warranty), I wouldn't worry about turning it off. Just put the phone on silent if you don't want it to ring. Otherwise, you may want to take it to your wireless carrier to have it fixed. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
