Question
I recently purchased an LG CF 360 on Ebay.  The carrier was listed as AT&T without a contract.  When I put my AT&T sim card in, the message "Invalid sim card, Network lock" appeared.  Can I get a new sim card from AT&T to get the phone to work?  Thanks for your time.

Answer
This particular phone will work with an AT&T prepaid SIM card, but not with post paid service. I is locked to the prepaid. If you have an account with AT&T post paid service, then you wouldn't want to move to prepaid just to use the phone. I would strongly recommend returning the phone. You want to get a phone that works with AT&T service (with a contract). If you find another phone, let me know and I will let you know if it will work with your service. Please do not buy a Chinese phone or any phone not branded by AT&T. You may want to consider just getting a refurbished AT&T phone on their web site. The come with a 90 day warranty and are guaranteed to work and are a lot less expensive if you are not eligible for an upgrade and can get a new phone from AT&T. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
