Cellular Phones/N97 With a Boost Mobile Sim

Question
Please can you tell me if it is possible for me to use a boost mobile sim card with my unlocked N97 phone? I am currently on flex pay monthly with T-Mobile but want to change my wireless carrier to Boost mobile. I am not a Motorola person, I like using Nokia phones. Please tell me if it is possible or not. Thank you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the N97 with your Boost SIM card. This is a GSM phone an your Boost SIM works with an iDEN network. YOu can only use your Boost SIM with other iDEN phones, i.e., ones branded by Nextel or Boost. If you change to Boost, you will be limited to the very small selection of iDEN phones. If I were on T-Mobile today, I don't think that I would switch to Boost unless I was 100% certain that it would work well in my area and I would only get the phone from Boost. I would not consider using any other phones and there are no Nokia phones that work on their network. Nokia only makes for GSM these days, so if you really want a Nokia phone, Boost is not the way to go. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
