Cellular Phones/Verizon-Degraded Reception

Question
About 4 weeks ago the 3 Verizon cell phones in our house began dropping numerous calls and the signal strength (shown as bars) dropped from a typical 3 to 1 or none.  Verizon opened a ticket and called me yesterday to say that we were just in a poor reception location and there was nothing to be done.  I'd accept that answer if the reception had always been bad.  What do I do from here?

Answer
What it sounds like is that Verizon may have changed the direction that the cell tower in your area was facing adn this is what caused you from having good reception to poor reception. What the person at Verizon told you is not accurate in my opinion and what I would recommend you do is to contact them again and ask if you can speak with an engineer or have one contact you back so that you can find out if they recently changed the direction that the antenna on the tower was pointing and to see if you can get them to move it back the way it was. There is no possible way that your service was good and then went bad without something changing with the Verizon tower. I doubt that they took down a tower, so I am assuming that they moved something. Don't give up yet. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
