Question
What should I look for when buying a cell phone? Currently, I don't use text messaging, email or internet features but I might sometime in the future.

Thanks!

Answer
Cell phones are different for each person. Pretty much most phone have the capability of using features that you mentioned, so perhaps your best bet is to find a phone that has a screen that is easy to read, logic that you find easy to use (the way you dial, access the phone book, answer the phone, etc.). Basically, if you are looking for a GSM phone that works on the T-Mobile network, ideally, it should be T-Mobile branded (same with AT&T). If not, then it needs to be SIM unlocked, quad band GSM that works in on the 850 and 1900 bands. Outside of that, everything else is personal preference. I would recommend not buying a Chinese phone and not buying a phone that wasn't intended for the US. If you find a couple of phones that you want me to look at, just send me another question and I'm happy to help. Thanks. DebiN
