Cellular Phones/flashing a Blackberry

Question
Now that MetroPCS Carries a Blackberry phone.  Is it possible to flash(still not sure what that means) all blackberry phone and be able to utilize the features on the network.  I mean like the storm and the curve?

Answer
It's possible to put the firmware for a MetroPCS onto a CDMA BlackBerry that MetroPCS sells. There are companies who will do this for you if the device is unlocked or they will unlock it for you and flash it to MetroPCS if you pay them to do this. You still have to get a BlackBerry data plan from MetroPCS in order to use any of the BlackBerry data features. You can find some of these companies on line if you search for "flashing a Blackberry to MetroPCS". I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
