Question
I have just bid & won a Blackberry phone on EBay. The phone arrived fine in good shape. When I took it to my phone provider Telus in Canada (it is a Telus Phone) they set it up for me with a data & voice plan transferring the contract from my old phone. However when we tried to use the phone we found it to be password protected & the seller has not provided me with the password. Is there some way to get around this or do I simply have to await a reply to my email requesting the password. Any help much appreciated.

Answer
All you have to do is type in any password 10 times in a row. It will say invalid password each time and then after the 10th time, it will tell you that the device will be wiped. Let the device be wiped and it will be ready for you to use once it resets itself. This is a great thing about a BlackBerry. Hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
