i was wanting to know just which brands of phones metro pcs will activate since while they have some phones of their own that appeal to me, im not really all that impressed by their selection, including the few ( like only 1 or 2 out of about 10 or 12) phones of theirs that do appeal to me. so as you can see, im looking to go through someone else to get my phone from, and intending to use metropcs for service. im just not certain what phone brands metro will provide service for. well so, when you get this and have time to respond please do. They can flash a CDMA phone to MetroPCS, but if they don't sell that exact model, not all of the features will work, so it makes no sense to buy a phone that they don't sell because why would you want the phone if all the features don't work. If you really want to use MetroPCS for your carrier, then you want to buy a phone directly from them. That is by far your best bet. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
