Question
i have an existing virgin mobile monthly pre-paid plan and my phone is lame, so my friend gave me their old motorola razor v3m(pink) to use. i know that they neither one have a sim card because they use esm. is it possible to transfer my current virgin pre-paid info onto this verizon phone? and if so then how ould i do that?

Answer
Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to use your friend's Verizon Razr with your Virgin service. You have to have a Virgin phone to use your service. The ESN of your friend's phone belongs to Verizon (this is a unique identity number) and is not in the database of Virgin. I'm afraid that if you want to stay with Virgin service, you are going to have to use their phones. If someone tried to sell you a "flashed to Virgin" phone, keep in mind that not everything would work properly because Virgin doesn't sell the model of phone and therefore it can't be flashed properly so only some features would work. In order to use the Verizon phone, you would need Verizon service and if the phone was used for post-paid, you will only be able to use it post-paid, not even prepaid with Verizon. I hope this help and sorry it wasn't the answer you were hoping for. Thanks. DebiN
