Question
I have a verizon phone and don't know how to set up my voice mail box.  It doesnt tell you how to do it in the book.  Can you tell me how?

Answer
When you receive a voice mail, you will see a notification on your phone. You just go to Voice Mail and the phone will automatically dial your voice mail box for you. When you go into it for the first time, it will ask you to set up your voice mail. If it asks for a password the first time, which it shouldn't, it is most likely the last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn't work, then call Verizon to ask them the default password. The book wouldn't have info on this because it is specifically Verizon's voice mail, not the phone's voice mail. Oftentimes, if you press and hold the number 1 on your phone, it will most likely dial the voice mail box. Otherwise, you can go into the phone options and you should see an option for voice mail to dial it. You will be prompted to set up the voice mail box. Just follow the prompts to set it up. I hope this helps. thanks. DebiN
