Cellular Phones/Blackjack II battery not holding charge for long

Question
I recently got a new battery for my wife's Blackjack ii because the previous one (stock) wasn't holding a charge for more than a day.  The new battery (got online) is still doing the same thing.  Is the charger maybe bad?  Is it the phone?  She has turned off the phone and run down the charge till almost empty before recharging per previous recommendations.

Answer
You have to use the approved battery for this device. If the one you purchased on line is from a third party provider, I would scrap it. You need the battery that is sold with the BlackJack II. If your device is less than 12 months old, you should return it under warranty to AT&T. If it is more than 30 days old, then it is very likely that the issue is with the battery itself. It is likely not charging fully. Are you using the original charger? If it is not the original charger, you should definitely be using only the charger that came with the device or is the approved charger for this device. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
