Question
We have a cell tower on our land.  The original Lease was between our deceased Father and the tower owner at the time.  Our Father was a farmer.  He had no formal education nor an attorney.  We have tried unsuccessfully to locate the original Lease agreement.  WHERE can we go to get a certified copy of the original Lease Agreement ?

The owner of the tower will have a copy of the lease. Have you attempted to contact them? The good news is that these cell tower contracts are very generic and not typically negotiated, so even though your father did not have a formal education or an attorney, it is unlikely that the deal he got for the lease of his land was probably not much different than what someone with an education and attorney would have received. These contracts are very basic, a I mentioned and not much to negotiate. I hope this helps. thanks. DebiN
