im wondering if its possible if an htc touch pro can be used in chicago for the boost mobile CDMA network? if not what are some similar wireless companies that will allow use of this device in this area that are under $70/month?

Answer
The TouchPro  is a CDMA device, as you mentioned. If Boost is willing to activate this device for you with the Boost unlimited plan, then you can use it. Typically, the Boost phones have to be iDEN or iDEN/CDMA combined, but the best way to be sure is to go to the nearest place that sells Boost and ask them if they can activate this device for you. They will tell you if they can or can't. If the phone is not flashed for Boost, it would need to be flashed, but it's best to first check with them to see if they can activate it for you. Thanks.
