Cellular Phones/Incoming Call and Text Display-Razr V3

Question
Hi, I recently purchased an unlocked Motorola V3 razr online. My cell phone carrier (AT&T) sent me a SIM card. Initially when I was putting my contacts in, I saved them to my SIM card. However, when I get incoming calls or text messages, only phone number from where they are coming from is displayed, not the name associated with that number in my contacts. How can I change the display for incoming calls and texts. It's so annoying not knowing who is calling, or who a text message is coming from. Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Answer
The next time someone calls you, use the caller ID that came across the display to add them to your contacts. When they call again, you will see that their name displays. The way that your contacts are saved now is not consistent with the caller ID (perhaps they need a +1 or the phone is set up for non-US display, etc., but if you use the Caller ID to save the contacts, it will work the next time that person calls. Then just look at the difference between how that entry was saved and how your other entries are and just make sure all the entries are saved with the same way. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
