Question
My daughter has a LG CU515 and for some reason the sound only works on a call if you put it on speakerphone. I have reset the default settings and there's still no sound. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Thank you so much for your time.
The internal speaker (non-speakerphone) is likely broken. This is one of the first things that goes on a cell phone. If you have had the device for less than a year, then it is still under warranty. If over a year, it's not. If the device is over 2 years old and you are no longer under contract, I would recommend getting a new device. Otherwise, you would need to have the phone repaired. There is no self-repair that I am aware of or that I would recommend for this issue. Turning off the device, taking out the battery and putting it back in resets the device, but that's about the most that you can do yourself safely. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
